The last couple of marathons have been challenging. 26.2 miles is 26.2 miles whatever way it looks, but my mind’s not been in the right place – there has been a lot of doubt seeping in. Mostly, my faith has been shaky. Amidst all the busyness of life, the things to do and the goals to strive for, I have to remember that control is an illusion – God is good and it is He who directs my life. This week, I spent more time in prayer, lifting up my pains and concerns to Him and hoping that whatever happens, all that I do is honoring to Him. This run still wasn’t easy, but hope carried me through. God carried me through, He always has.
